Future Cheer Superhero Spirit Challenge - 2009

JC PomPoms competed in the Future Cheer Superhero Spirit Challenge in Edingurgh's Royal Highland Centre for the second time.

The entire squad did the 'JC' name proud winning six first place trophies, one second and one third as well as JC Blaze & Flames being awarded the title of Grand Champions in cheer levels four and five.

Twechar Beach Day

All the squads went down to dance at the Twechar Healthy Living and Enterprise Centre for the annual Twechar Beach Day.

On the day, there were many stalls fundraising for JC PomPoms as well as other local causes.

This was out first competition with Future Cheer and what a great time we all had!

Loads of fun, great performances and results from all teams made it a great competition.

Well done to all our performers today, and not forgetting batwoman - Gillian (Megan's Mom)!

Fundraising Race Night & Disco

The 3rd Annual JC Race Night/Disco was a total success. It was good to see so many of the regular supporters there.

Jill for her hard work in organising the whole event - tickets/raffles/donations/balloon bonanza.
DJ Kev for again providing the music.
Anne and Jim and the staff of the Rangers Club for the hire of the hall.
Denise and Alex Graham Catering for the outstanding buffet

Kilsyth International Carnival 2007

Despite the weather, JC Pompoms took part in the Kilsyth International Carnival at the Colzium.

The girls joined in the Parade and 'cheered' their way around the park, along with many groups - Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band, Belly Dancers, Drummers and local cheer squads The Kilsyth Starlets and The Marvels, to name but a few. They then performed their dance routines at the Dance Arena.

Auntie B's Wedding

Number One JC Supporter, Bernadette "Auntie B" Cox, married Christopher Shaw today at St Patrick's Church in Kilsyth.

Thirty squad members secretly waited outside the church to 'cheer' their Congratulation wishes to the happy couple.

Auntie B has attended and supported every single JC Event since JC was formed in September 2004 This time, it was the Squad's turn to support her.

Everyone in the JC Pompoms Family wish Bernadette and Christopher health, wealth and happiness in their new life together.

Family Fun Day

The weather certainly did not stop JC having one of the biggest fund raising events ever! In fact, it probably drew more people in who were looking for something to do on such a rainy day.

Around 20 stalls were set up inside Twechar Recreation Centre selling items from Chocolate Fountain to Cake and Candy and Tombola to Tutu's.
Music from DJ Kev blared out around the hall and JC Pompoms performed their fabulous routines to a very large crowd.

Thanks to all the mums and supporters who set up stalls, thanks to everyone who attended on the day and made it such a fabulous success, and special thanks to Sandra, Mel and the team at Twechar Rec Centre who are always on hand to help JC.

Kirkintilloch Big Saturday

JC Pompoms were invited to dance at the Big Saturday event held in Kirkintilloch.
The pouring rain did not dampen the girls spirit and they danced at two different locations before the whole event was called off due to the weather. Thanks to all the girls and mums who turned out with brollies.
