Scot-Cheer Stunt Clinic

JC PomPoms attended one of the first Scot-Cheer Stunt Clinics of this year's session at Easterhouse Sport Centre on 3rd July. Joined by Xplosion, the squad were taught by four American Cheer Instructors who were flown over especially for these classes.These first steps of learning stunts will give JC PomPoms a great start for future competitions.On behalf of Joanne, and the entire squad, we would like to thank Scot-Cheer for giving us the opportunity to be taught by professionals and for a great day of learning.

G66+ Live Festival

The first community cultural festival held in the G66 post code came to an end with the "Pick & Mix" talent show in St Mary's Church Hall, Kirkintilloch.JC PomPoms and the Joanne Carr School of Dance took part along side many other excellent performers.Opening the show was JC PomPoms, with the Dance School appearing in the second half.

Congratulations to the PeeWee squad who were awarded another 1st place at Kilsyth's New Faces talent show.

Kilsyth Civic Week Gala Day Procession

A large turnout for JC PomPoms and the Joanne Carr School of Dance.The parade, which started at Kilsyth Academy, included the Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band, Irish Dancers, the Kilsyth Starlets and the Marvels cheerleading squads followed by other floats and participants.Fourth in the days festivities at Burngreen Park, the crowd waited till nearer the end of the day to see, what was said to be, "the main event".

Sefar Village F.C. 21st Anniversary Awards Ceremon

We were joined by three of the under 19's Sefar Village F.C. squad to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the club.The Junior and Senior squads performed to a busy hall of footballers and their families to open the events of the night.

BCA Championships Kelvin Hall, Glasgow

The British Cheerleading Association Scottish Regional Cheer and Dance Competition was held at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall on the 5th June 2005.C PomPoms won trophies in every section they competed in. A special mention to the youth group "JC PomPoms" who won the title of PeeWee Dance (Large) Champions. We were also awarded a Special Sportsmanship award from the BCA.

Scottish and European Championships - Dundee Caird

The weekend of the 8th of April saw the Scot-Cheer Scottish and European Championships at the Caird Hall in Dundee.JC PomPoms left with seven trophies including the title of European PeeWee Champions
